Who controls the data

3dp6 is the controller for information submitted through this website. Privacy requests can be sent to quotes@3dp6.com.

What we collect

We collect the details you submit, including your name, email, optional phone and company, job description, material preferences, delivery area and uploaded CAD files. We also store first-party session events such as page views, estimate steps and campaign parameters. We do not use third-party advertising or product-analytics trackers.

Why we use it

We use quote and file data to assess printability, prepare and discuss a quote, fulfil an order, prevent abuse, keep necessary business records and improve the quote journey. The usual legal bases are taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, complying with legal obligations and our legitimate interests in operating and improving the service.

Processors and transfers

Supabase provides private database and file storage, Vercel hosts the website, and Resend handles transactional email. Those providers may process data outside the UK using their contractual safeguards. Payment providers, couriers or professional advisers may receive only the information needed for their role.

Retention

Unsuccessful quote records and uploaded files are reviewed for deletion when they are no longer needed for the enquiry. Order, invoice and accounting records may be retained for the period required by tax and legal rules. You can ask for an unused quote file to be deleted sooner; we will confirm when this has been done unless a legal reason requires retention.

Your rights

You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or an objection where the relevant right applies. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. We may need to verify identity before acting on a request.

Cookies and first-party analytics

The site uses essential browser storage for a per-tab session identifier and stores analytics events in the same private backend used by the service. It does not load cross-site advertising cookies. Campaign source data is retained with a quote so we can understand how the enquiry arrived.
