CAD file privacy and IP policy

Your upload is for quoting and production. It is not added to the public model library, used to train an AI model or shown as portfolio work without separate permission.

Private storage and access

Uploads are stored in a private Supabase storage bucket. Access is limited to the service systems and the people who need the file to quote, prepare, print or resolve your job. Public library models use a separate catalogue and licence.

Your rights in the file

You keep the rights you already hold. Sending a file gives 3dp6 only the limited permission needed to inspect, prepare, reproduce and, where agreed, modify it for your quote or order. Ownership does not transfer to us.

Your responsibility

You must have the right to reproduce the design and to authorise us to make it. We may decline files that appear to infringe copyright, design rights, patents, trademarks or contractual confidentiality, or ask for evidence of permission.

Publication and case studies

Nothing from a private job is published by default. A case study, social post or downloadable model requires separate written permission covering the specific images, text and design information to be shared. Permission to show a finished photograph is not permission to release the CAD file.

Deletion

You can request deletion of a quote upload by emailing quotes@3dp6.com. Files needed for an active order, dispute or legal record may be held until that need ends. See the privacy notice for the wider data policy.
