Delivery and returns

We post finished parts across the UK. The final quote confirms the delivery cost and expected dispatch window before you order.

    Delivery is quoted with the job

    The final quote states the delivery charge and expected dispatch window. Production time depends on material, geometry, finishing and the current queue; a website guide estimate does not reserve a delivery date.

    Parts are checked and packed

    Finished parts are checked against the order before packing. Small features and long thin parts receive extra protection where their geometry needs it.

  3. 03

    Dispatch details are sent

    We email when the order leaves. Tracking is included when the selected postal or courier service provides it. Delivery time begins at dispatch, not when the quote is accepted.

If a parcel is late, lost or damaged

Check the tracking first, then email quotes@3dp6.com with the order reference if it has stopped moving or passed the carrier's expected window. We will raise the carrier enquiry.

For transit damage, keep the part and packaging and send clear photographs of both. Do not return it before we reply: the photographs may be enough to arrange the appropriate reprint, repair or refund and are often needed for the courier claim.

If the part is wrong or faulty

Tell us promptly what does not match the agreed specification. Include the order reference, photographs and a measurement where the issue is dimensional. We will compare it with the accepted quote, supplied file and named critical dimensions.

When the error is in our material, preparation or production, we will repair, reprint or refund the affected item as appropriate. This does not cover a changed preference, an undisclosed fit or use outside the agreed requirements, but we will still review what happened.

Change-of-mind returns

Most 3dp6 orders are made to a customer's dimensions, file, material, colour or other specification. Personalised and custom-made goods are generally excluded from the standard distance-selling change-of-mind return right once production has begun. This does not affect your rights when goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.

If an item was not personalised or made to your specification, normal online cancellation rights may apply. Contact us within 14 days of delivery before sending anything back. We will confirm whether the return is accepted, the address to use and who is responsible for return postage.

Before returning a part

Email quotes@3dp6.com first. Include the order reference and reason for return. We do not publish a returns address because there is no walk-in counter and an unapproved parcel can arrive without the information needed to identify it.
