Wagon Load, Coal (OO)
A drop-in coal load for an open mineral wagon at OO (1:76.2) — a 61.7×31.5mm plug that sits down in the body with a 6.6mm heap above it, 15.7mm overall. Scaled from a 4700×2400mm prototype wagon interior; check it against your own wagons before you print ten. This is solid massing, which is exactly why it works at OO: there is no fine detail on a heap of coal to lose, so the only thing the scale changes is the size. The heap narrows all the way up, so it prints without support. PLA is fine — it is going to be painted and glued in, and it will never see a load.
