Retaining Wall, Buttressed (O)
A buttressed retaining wall at O (1:43.5): 137.9mm long, 92.0mm tall and 10.34mm thick, with three battered buttresses projecting 20.7mm down the back — a 6000×4000mm prototype panel, 450mm thick. Sections butt end to end along a cutting. The wall itself is thick enough to be real at every scale offered here; the coping is the part to be honest about, at 1.72mm proud at O. Brick courses are not modelled: at O a 3-inch mortar joint is 0.34mm and there is no point pretending a nozzle will find it — this is a massing block you paint and weather. Prints standing on its bottom edge; the buttresses narrow going up, so nothing overhangs.
