Cold Shoe Mount (ISO 518)
An accessory-shoe channel cut to ISO 518:2006, the standard every flash foot, microphone clip and trigger since the film era is made to: 18.6mm between the rails, 12.5mm between the lip edges, 2mm from the channel floor to the lip underside, 1.5mm lips. This part prints each internal width at nominal plus 0.2–0.3mm (18.8 / 12.8 / 2.1mm) so a metal foot slides in without scraping — the standard's own tolerances all run upward from nominal, so the print stays within them. No hot-shoe contact, and none pretended: it is a cold shoe, for mounting a mic, a light or a monitor on anything you can put two M4 bolts through — the wings carry a square 4.5mm opening each. 18mm long, within the standard's 16mm +3/−2 band. Prints upright; the lips bridge 3mm, which FDM handles. PETG — a shoe takes prying loads PLA cracks under.
