3D Printing for Van and Campervan Parts

14 Jul 2026 · 1 min read

Vans and campervans are full of small plastic parts, and full of opportunities for custom fittings during a build. 3D printing handles both.

Replacing broken parts

Trim clips, dashboard fittings, vent parts and interior fasteners break or go missing constantly, and dealer prices for tiny plastic parts can be absurd. Printing a replacement — often a small batch so you have spares — is quick and cheap. Send the broken part or a clear photo with measurements.

Custom camper fittings

During a conversion, you often need brackets and mounts that simply do not exist off the shelf: a mount for a control panel, a bracket for electronics, a holder for a gas gauge, a custom trim piece. These are ideal print jobs, made to your exact measurements.

The material question

This matters more in vehicles than almost anywhere else. Interiors get very hot in the sun, and PLA can soften and warp in that heat. For anything on show or under stress, we use PETG, ABS or ASA, which handle heat and UV far better. Tell us where the part sits and we will choose accordingly.

What we will not print

We stick to cosmetic and non-safety-critical parts. We will not print safety-critical structural, braking or restraint components.
