Track Border Clip
A joining clip for trackside borders: a 30mm C-channel that slides over the butted edges of two adjacent border boards — half its length on each — and holds them flush, so a de-slotted car skates across the joint instead of catching a step. The jaw is cut at 3.4mm for the 3mm sheet and card most home-track borders are cut from; measure yours with callipers, because border stock is anything but standard, and the same clip cuts to any thickness. 15.5mm of grip each side of the spine. It is a friction fit by design — no screws through your scenery — so it also comes off when the layout changes. Constant cross-section, printed standing on the profile, no support. PETG springs; PLA works on a permanent layout that never flexes.
