Body Post Kit (posts + spacers)
A kit plate of generic slot-car body posts and spacers: four Ø6.5 posts with a 1.8mm pilot bore — two at 10mm, two at 14mm — plus six Ø7 spacer rings (two each of 1.5, 2.5 and 4mm, 2.6mm bore) for setting body float. Glue a post to the body shell, trim to length, and the usual 2–2.2mm body screw self-taps into the pilot; stack spacers under the screw head to tune how freely the body rocks, which is where a scratch-built or resin body wins or loses its handling. Deliberately generic and stated as such: home-set and club chassis differ everywhere, so there is no pretence of matching any maker's moulding — these are plain round posts for scratch mounting, and the design cuts to other diameters or heights on request. Plain vertical tubes, printed standing, no support. PETG takes repeated screw-tapping far better than PLA, which splits along the bore.
