Castellated Frame Spacer (10-slot, BS National)
A castellated frame spacer for a BS National super: a 420mm strip with 10 slots at 42mm centres — the published spacing for 10-slot National castellations — each slot 23mm wide to drop a standard 22mm DN/SN frame lug in with 1mm to spare, 9mm deep, on a strip 28mm tall to match the traditional metal pattern. Ten-slot is the usual choice for supers on undrawn foundation. It prints as two half-lengths that butt end to end in the rebate — a 420mm strip does not fit most printers in one piece, and two pinned halves hold frames exactly as one would. Fix with panel pins through the band. Material honesty matters on a hive: PETG or ASA, not PLA — a dark hive roof in July will take PLA past its softening point.
