Screw-Top Jar (40mm thread)
A screw-top jar, 35.7mm across the body and 70mm tall, with 2.4mm walls and a 3mm floor — about 55ml. Three turns of a 40mm × 4mm-pitch external thread round the top, cut to the ISO 68-1 60° form. The form is the standard's; the diameter-and-pitch pairing is not an ISO 261 one and is not claimed to be. It is deliberately coarse — 4mm on a 40mm thread — because that is what a 0.4mm nozzle cuts as a thread rather than as a rumble strip. Mates with the lid below: the jar's profile is offset 0.2mm off nominal and the lid is left on nominal, so there is 0.2mm on every flank and crest and 0.4mm on the major diameter, which is enough to spin the lid on with one hand. Prints floor-down, upright, no support. For screws, spices, seeds, solvent — but note a printed jar is not airtight and not food-safe: FDM layer lines leave a helical path straight through the wall, and the gaps between them hold onto whatever was in there last.
